Dr Adam Sheridan

Dr Adam Sheridan trained as a specialist dermatologist in Australia and the United Kingdom. He was awarded clinical research fellowships in both Dermatology (1998) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (1999) at The University of Oxford, UK.

Dr Sheridan is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists; Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery; Member of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery; and Member of the Inter-national Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin.

Dr Sheridan has served as lead consultant and dermatological surgeon at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals, Oxford, UK; Flinders Medical Centre, SA; Monash Medical Centre, VIC; and is currently senior VMO attending the Advanced Cutaneous Surgery Unit at The Skin and Cancer Foundation, VIC.

He has served as Honorary State Secretary for the Australasian College of Dermatologists and on the Australasian College of Derma-tologists Committee for Continued Professional Development and the Australasian College of Dermatologists Mohs Micrographic Surgery Task Force.

Dr Sheridan is a published author in the international dermatology literature and is a guest reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology. Dr Sheridan is actively involved in the Australasian College of Dermatologists specialist training programme.

Dr Sheridan’s areas of special expertise include surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, acne and acne scarring,┬álaser and light therapies, general medical and cosmetic dermatology
